Major two components of a toilet tank

A toilet is made by various components. The toilet tank is one of them. A toilet tank includes so many components. And the toilet tank is the major part of plumbing system. The purpose of a toilet tank is to contain water and need to flush to clean the commode. The toilet tank also hides all the tank appliance inside it which appliances are fill up the tank by water and empties the tank.

• Fill valve

• Flush valve

Fill valve: The fill valve is also known as ballcock. This is the one of the major part of a toilet tank. The fill valve task is filling up the toilet tank with the water. Another name of this valve is refill valve. The fill valve has four variations. There is plunger type fill valve which is brass type old style fill valve or ballcock. Diaphragm type fills valve which looks old brass style and new plastic made the valve. Float Cup type fill valve which is also plastic made new style ballcock. Float less type fill valve which is new style plastic type ballcock.

Flush valve: The flush valve is another major part of a toilet tank. The task of the flush valve is to release the stored water from the tank into the commode. After releasing the water, it allows to fill up the tank with water for next use. The flush valve adjusted the tank’s bottom. The flush valve has two common variations. Rubber Float Ball and Flapper Ball.
